Shift Stocks are tokenized Stocks value, designed to connect the Global capital markets with the DeFi ecosystem liquidity by introducing fully-backed tokens that can move freely on-chain and usable across top dApps and exchanges.

Shift Stocks are not securities. Security tokens (STOs) represent rights to the underlying securities, whereas Shift Stocks do not confer any rights to the backing assets. Shift Stocks merely offer token holders an exposure to the respective asset price by tracking the price of the backing asset, as such, they are classified as Asset-referenced Tokens ("ARTs") under MiCAR.

Yes. Shift Stocks are regulated under the Austria FMA, and comply fully with the EU’s MiCAR framework for Asset-reference Tokens ("ARTs"). Shift Stocks backing assets are held by licensed European custodians, and audited by a European reputable auditor. for more information please refer to the Issuer Docs Hub center.

Token holders can redeem Shift Stock 24/5 on the Issuer platform in accordance with the Issuer terms of service.
To redeem your tokens navigate to the Issuer Platform where you can create a Sell order for your tokens at the current market price, and receive either Crypto, Cash or the Backing assets.

Shift Stocks offers users exposure to the price of major stocks such as Tesla (TSLA) and MicroStrategy (MSTR), or ETFs such as SPDR S&P 500 (SPY). Currently, Shift Stocks does not offer exposure to the price of private equity companies.

Yes, every Shift Stocks token is backed by their respective backing asset (for example, MSTRs is backed by MicroStrategy stocks), Proof-of-reserve is publicly available on the token Issuer Platform under Transparency tab.
